More artist trading cards!

The only thing I did today was make artist trading cards.... Is that bad? Well I made some pretty cool ones today if I do say so myself;) Here they are!

This one has a plaid background I drew, and words I got from a magazine.

I don't really like this one... It is a fox sticker on a colored pencil background. Then I drew around the sticker in marker and wrote "As sly as a fox."
This one has a scrapbook paper background, a glittery sun, and a quote by Laura Ingalls Wilder.  It says  "Some old-fashioned things like fresh air and sunshine are hard to beat."
This one is a drawing of a skateboard and says "Skater girl" down the side.
I call this one Fruit Boy. He has a watermelon smile, orange ears, and fruit all around him.

I LOVE THIS ONE. I colored it with blue and green colored pencil, and then glued on a paper horse shoe and horse. I then glued on letters from a magazine that spell "Equestrian."
This one has a rainbow going from the top left corner to the bottom right corner. I wrote rainbow in rainbow colors and then drew around it in, of course, rainbow colors.

I got a coloring page from a Lego club magazine. I colored it with colored pencils and then glued it to the card. I added love, smile, friends, and laughter, and flower stickers.
I LOVE THIS ONE TOO! I drew a girl with short hair in pencil, and then I colored the background with colored pencil. Then I cut pieces of faces from magazines, and glued them on.
This one didn't come out too good. I colored it with colored pencil (yet again) and then wrote a Toby Mac quote in blue marker. It says "Tonights the night, for the sinners and the saints, two worlds collide, in a beautiful display" from the song A City On Our Knees. Then I painted on glitter paint, which made the words hard to see.
This one is so simple but pretty. It is a drawing of a butterfly in colored pencil.

This one is definitely one of my favorites, if not my favorite. I got the image from a Lego Club magazine, and glued it on to the card. Then I wrote Magical in puffy stickers. I love the colors.

I hope you liked them!

Artist trading cards

I started making artist trading cards! I got the idea from clarascraftcorner.wordpress.com who got it from flourishingbyrestfulfalls.wordpress.com .

Artist trading cards are 2 ½ by 3 ½ cards that you decorate and trade with friends! They are really fun to make. Here are the ones I made so far.

This one is a picture of a birdhouse over sheet music page borders. I colored the extra white space with orange marker.

For this one I wrote the words Summer Fun and colored the background. Then I colored in the words summer fun. I added a bunch of glittery summer themed stickers.

This one was my first and is my favorite. I colored it with a pink highlighter and than added an adhesive border for scrapbooks.  I put on a 3-D cupcake sticker and then little word stickers that say "Sprinkle magic wherever you go" I thought that was clever because there are sprinkles on the cupcakes.

This one is my second favorite. I colored it with a marker and then glued on a stamp scrapbook accessory. I then wrote LOVE with a marker.

This one was totally random. I was thinking about Hello Kitty and came up with Hello Doggie.

For this one I used music note page borders and glued a scrapbook paper heart. Then I dipped a black tea bag in warm water and squeezed the tea bag until the water was dark brown. Then I dipped a paint brush in and painted several coats all over everything. It took about two hours to dry. Now to looks really cool! I might add a music quote to this one, to spice it up a bit.

So those are the ATC's I have made so far! They are really fun to make. If you decide to make some, do a post about it! I'd love to see yours! Also, look for more of these posts, as I plan to make a lot more trading cards. Thanks for reading!

Exciting news!

Oh my gosh I have some very exciting news!!! I still can't believe it! Okay here it is,
I GOT A NEW DOLL!!!!!!!
I got #33 and she is GORGEOUS.  I cannot stop looking at her. I bought her from my friend who didn't want her anymore. She came in the Star Hoodie Outfit and my friend gave me a pretty purple dress too:) She is the best! I brought her out for her first photoshoot, and since the lighting wasn't great, I only got one good one. Here it is!

GAHH I LOVE HER SO MUCH.  I haven't named her yet, I'm deciding between Lacey, Mae or Katie. I am leaning towards Mae, but I don't really know. What do you think?
I don't know how I'm going to tie her in to my other dolls, I'm thinking I might make her Maria Isabelle's sister, or cousin. I still can't believe she's mine!

                                  Thank you for reading!

Review of Grace stirs up success.

Here is a review of Grace stirs up success!

I wanted to watch this movie because Grace and I have the same interests, but I was a bit let down. First off, the acting is not great, particularly in Grace's friends. Throughout the whole movie they talk in high-pitched squealy voices, and it gets really annoying.

I enjoyed watching Grace in Paris, and seeing a friendship form between her Uncle, her cousin, and herself,  but when Grace gets back home, the movie turned boring.

I would have really liked this movie if they totally left the Master Chef Junior part off. I wouldn't have really changed the movie if they did. It started in the last half hour, and it felt VERY rushed. Also *SPOILER ALERT* it was so obvious Grace was going to win. I felt like this movie was cute, but also pointless and predictable. I give it 5 out of 10. It would be better for younger kids, maybe 6-10 year olds.

I hope you enjoyed this review!

Cabela's doll photoshoot and reveiwish thing

A couple days ago I brought out my Cabela's Adventure Girlz dolls, which I don't do all that often. This afternoon I saw them laying on the table, and when I looked outside, the lighting was perfect! I took ALOT of pictures. Here are my favorites:

These dolls are SO photogenic

Sorry this isn't the best quality

These dolls are not very well known, so here's where to get them and the prices. The doll (they don't really have permanent names) with the blue shirt comes with a camping set and is $39.99 but it comes with a tent and a lot of accessories. The other doll with the Cabela's shirt comes with a fishing set and she was $24.99.  I definitely recommend checking these dolls out either on the Cabela's website or store, because they are "realer" than Barbie's, but the same size. They all come with Naturey sets (Camping, fishing, horses, etc.) and they're not pink and purple and sparkly. I think they are so pretty! Their hair is really silky, and their hair doesn't get overly tangled (If you take care of it.) You can buy the dolls HERE . So this was a photoshoot and reviewish thing (hence the title of this post.) I hope you enjoyed!

10 Ways To Decorate Your Dolls Bedroom!

Here are ten super easy ways to decorate your doll's bedroom!

Number 1:
Trading cards

You can use any kind of trading card. I had My Little Pony ones, and they make great posters for a doll bedroom. You can get MLP trading cards at Target or online. I'm not sure where you can get other kinds!

Number 2:
Small cute things

These make the room look cute and childish. The hedgehog is actually a lip gloss I got as a gift, and the hamster is an eraser I got from a toy store.

Number 3:
Books

I made the book on top with the materials in the doll school kit, and the bottom book is a tiny Hello Kitty book.

Number 4:
Anything doll sized.

This is a glittery box that I had laying around, and turned it into a night stand for Mia, since she didn't have one.

Number 5:
Throw pillows

I love how throw pillows look.
I have had this one forever, so I'm not sure which store sells them, but it would be really easy to sew your own.

Number 6:
Toys

This is Mia's doll, and she looks perfect on Mia's bed!

Number 7:
Seashells

This works best if you live near the beach, but you can also get shells at craft stores.

Number 8:
Everyday things

This isn't necessarily a decoration, but it makes a room more realistic. I added things that she would use everyday to her nightstand. Strawberry lotion and a hair clip.

Number 9:
A rug

This is actually just a small blanket that came with a set for a stuffed animal. It ties the room together!

Number 10:
Bows

These are bows I made out of duct tape. I attached them to the bed and nightstand with a piece of tape. It makes the room look girly and fun!

Here is the room after all the decorations. Cute huh?
